Car Model: 1964 Valiant 200 convertible
Greetings! My good buddy and roommate suddenly and tragically passed away "intestate" 4 years ago and his family bequeathed me his '64 Valiant convertible at that time. He had only just had the transmission rebuilt and a new soft top fitted. I have other vintage cars, so didn't turn my attention to it for quite some time. When I did, unfortunately I really screwed up and spun a rod bearing while going down a steep hill. I assume it was low on oil anyway and my guess is the pickup pipe became exposed.

I tore down the engine, had the crank ground and replaced all the bearings. It's now back in the car, but I'm moving overseas and have run out of time to finish it. I can't bear the though of it being towed away to a junkyard, so I'm hoping someone would be willing to buy it and finish it off.

I'm in Mountain View / SF Bay area, California.

Ok folks, I found someone ... he's gonna fix it up for me and will probably put it up for sale on here in due course.

Slant on,
