Hello again all! My throttle cable snapped at the pedal for my 1966 Plymouth Belvedere II 4 door with the 225 slant. Before I start digging into it, does anyone know a size/part#/or location to buy just the factory replacement or equivalent. Not really looking to do any serious modifications with a universal cable unless I am forced to.

Thanks again....

I would look into a cable from a '72-'78 Dodge d or w series truck. I am not sure if they are available aftermarket new or not. For sure used on ebay and in the Junkyards/Swap meets etc.

Measure the length of yours and see if the truck cables are the same or similar length.. I bet they can be modified to work.

Plenty on somewhat universal options as well out there from Lokar.

If the housing is OK and it's just the inner cable that's broken, check with your local bicycle shop to see if they can make a replacement.

Pioneer Industries makes many cables so see if they have something that is close.

Look at CA-8417 & CA-8418
