hello i have acquired a 1984 dodge d150 slant 6 with a 4 speed on the floor.if im correct i have a lean burn system with a lean burn electric carb and the ECM mounted on the air cleaner? ive never seen a set up like this and i plan on elimanteing it for bigger future plans but i plan on redoing the top end and completely changeing the igntion system. i pulled a 1945 series holly carb without the elctric control and also the harness off a 77 pick up in the yard , i got it from along with a new distributor. i plan on running the new harness with the distributor along with the carb i plan on buying some perishable parts new that way i have peace at mind and doing a standard tune up plugs ,wires cap and rotor. ect i will need a new pick up coil and ignition control module. this is my first slant 6 and i have big plans for my leaning tower of power! i love 80s dodge pick ups
my first truck was an ol dodge pick up.
