i have changed my cap and rotor in the last few weeks and corrected a minor skip.this week i decided to do the plugs as i was not sure when the p.o. had changed them or what type was in the truck.
turns out he had put bosch r 6's gapped to .30.the bosch's top of the electrode was grayish and the back of the elctrode was sooty.i replaced them with ngk ur5's gapped to .35.just by seat of the pants the truck seems to have more "snap" to it and a smoother idle.in a day or two i'll gas up and check the mileage.hopefully it will go up a bit.
