Anybody got a cam card or at least some numbers for the intake event so I can check the cam timing on Linda's engine?

The Melling Cam in question is pn SPD-3 CS-380

Sure would have been nice to get a card with the new cam....

That's the "stocker" replacement that comes with most of the slant six "master rebuild kits" you get. Last I had checked it's pretty close to the stock 1972+ cam but it had an LSA of 109...none ever came with a cam card...I sold both of the ones I had to people for fresh cam cores to be reground...

Wow that's different than the last one I got. 112 is going to keep things really smooth...

Those figures are at .060 not .050. Right
How much difference will that make???

Those must be @0.020" or more likely @0.006" duration numbers. If they were @0.060", then you'd have a ROUGH idle.

The 0.06 is what the catalog page says, but I suspect it is a typo.

Thanks! :D

I was looking on the Melling web site, but couldn't find technical info...

They sent the specs to me via email today. Looks pretty tame. It's for an around town car, so should be nice and docile.

Here's what they sent me:

DUR.@.050
INT. 198
EXH. 203

Valve Lift
INT. .405
EXH. .412

Lobe Ctr.
INT. 106
EXH. 112

Lobe Sep
109

A little different specification. Still, 109 degrees should be pretty calm.
