Anybody ever hear of this 'circle track setup'?

http://gainesville.craigslist.org/cto/3427161428.html

300 HP seems improbable through a stock exhaust manifold
300 c.i. just seems improbable

No way to get 300 cubes out of a slant block. The room just isn't there. 300 HP is possible, but HIGHLY unlikely in a naturally aspirated motor. This guy is dreaming.

Who is "Sister Hazel"?

300 is not out of the realm of an N/A motor, but that one just doesn't have the parts to make it.

It also has a "Borg" rock crusher 4 speed. Wonder if it was built by Locutus of Borg?

It is worth $1200 if it has the pedals, etc. Never know it may have a Dana 8 3/4 with Mopar Performance gears. Spot light on the car means it is obviously A body cop car!

Probably an 833OD. Florida rust bucket?

Never raced or abused!

I've heard of Muncie rock crushers, and Muncie jug benders.

Hmmmmm......got the "purple stick" cam for the build. I see it also has the "purple log", extra large exhaust manifold, specially engineered for the slant to provide for better exhaust scavaging.

I wonder what organization made people race while sporting roof racks?

The 300HP was to overcome airdynamics when hauling your dog in a crate.

"NEVER RACED OR ABUSED!!"

Maybe the racks hold the roof down?

Gutter mount clamp on roof.

Seriously though, you could box in the roof frame and install a big Webasto sunroof.

With a sunroof, that car would probably be worth over $200. :D
