Yes the Permaseal Head Gasket from Australia is a 3.66 bore head gasket.

The felpro and Victor Reinz are 3.5 bore size...considering that the stock slant is a 3.4" bore that will get you through all the overbores a street motor needs (20,30,40,60,80...and the long rods at .45), the only reason to go past that is for maximum performance...with an over bore past .100 you have to pick and check your blocks and other prep has to occur that may not be so street friendly.

Any reason you'd need that kind of over bore in a truck?

Yes, I ordered the last group buy on the gaskets that came from Australia. I think I ordered 20 of them and the shipping alone was over $200. Not sure what the shipping would be on one or two gaskets.

How big do you need? ACL was making a gasket that was 3.54" or so. Aussie Permaseal (now called Endurotec) is the 3.66" one.

No I am good with the only reason I was asking is cause it was mentioned to me on another forum that I should get an oversized gasket.

I think the poster was confused a bit but its all good.

Thanks for the tip but the stock bore size will be just fine.
