working on a 68 225 for my dart decked the block 90 had head done 340 stainless valves, and springs, ported. Had sig cut me a cam that you guys were running.30 over flat tops also Down to the finding what my DCR is ? Doc explained it in an article I can't find ! DCR CC AVERAGE IS 63cc. strait edge across the deck then measure distance between top of piston and edge, ? hand is still mangled but works good enough to finish this. 63 170 3 on the tree bought new flywheel from 225. 170 came out what clutch etc. thanks Dino need headers.

DCR varies with rpm, therefore, using a calculator only gets you a ball park figure . Below is one of many free online calculators you can use that will generate this ball park figure for you . A sophisticated computer dyno simulator can give reasonable estimates throughout the entire expected rpm range.

If you aren't comfortable with an online calculator, you will need to provide:

Deck Height = Distance from the top of the piston to the top of the deck of the block, when piston is at TDC. (Need a depth gauge to make sure it's accurate...if your pistons are dished or domed, we need to know the volume of the dish or bulge)

Overbore = Looks like .030 over

Chamber volume (after you complete any valve work).

Which head gasket you are going to use.

The specs of the camshaft you are going to use, and where you intend to centerline it at.
