I don't know if the miniscule reduction in friction of a roller rocker tip is worth $1700 plus shipping from Australia.

Roller tip rockers are overrated in a number of ways. But, they are good in that they generally represent a higher quality part, and have more consistent ratios from rocker to rocker. They also are more forgiving when it comes to geometry. They can be lighter, too, sometimes.

And I also give those wacky Aussies credit for making them.

Flat pad rockers, by contrast, are way underrated. They simply are not nearly as sexy. But they don't have any tiny axles to fail, and a properly setup rocker won't have any more friction - all it's doing is rocking, not scrubbing. On V8's, anyway, some of my favorite rockers are the dead-strong Isky and Crane flat pad type.

Doesn't T&D list them for around $800?

I have some of the RAS/Cox rockers. They are very pretty, but are overkill unless you're running huge spring pressure.

I haven't killed any stock rockers...................yet.

T&D, and RAS both have roller rockers available for under $1,000 USD, in 1.5 and 1.6 ratio.
I also have a set of Cox Bros/RAS 1.6 roller rockers. I haven't run them yet.

I really like the Professional way that they display this overpriced crap on a nasty, ugly, dirty head. For the price they're asking, you'd think that they could use a clean head! To rich for my blood!

I have the ras roller rockers 1.6 ratio
My decision was more to get same ratio on all six cylinders
As factory rockers are somewhere around 1.40s to 1.50s or more or less
That said price to HP or performance gains should be at A minimum
More of a ocd thing for me

No I am from boring old Pennsylvania in the US.

I just happen to like the AvE vernacular

.... He is a canook and weaves a colorful tapestry of vocabulary, facts, nonsense and general entertainment into some of his rants.
