Just had the head for my /6 done, decided that both the fittings in the head for the heater hose and bypass hose needed to be replaced. I have a steel barbed fitting to use for the heater hose, couldn't find another steel one for the bypass hose, so bought a brass fitting. Any issues with dissimilar metals/leaks?

Update.11-22-2020 I found two different BRASS fittings that would work for the bypass hose where it goes into the head but I was concerned with dissimilar metals/potential leaks. Found on EBAY, a "Four Seasons" 84724 steel (NOT Stainless steel) that should work. Cost less than $10 Head at tear down just had a 3/8" short pipe nipple into head for bypass hose.

Also got the head and block painted so is ready for assembly. Valve cover, timing chain cover, vibration dampner, and oil pan all painted too. My dear wife asked me why I painted it such an ugly color (Mopar Blue), She also didn't want me to paint it Hemi orange. Not sure just what color I was supposed to paint it!!!!!
