What is the best way to seal the tube and fitting for my mechanical oil pressure gauge to my engine? Teflon tape or permatex high temp seem to be the choices here? When I bought the truck and it had no oil pressure (for four years) and I wasn't worried. Now that I have hooked up the gauge, I go straight to panic! Thank you!!

Gary

Pipe dope on threads where fitting screws into engine, nothing on compression fitting where Farrell nut screws into fitting.
