Looks like I lucked out, again. Not needing to reinvent the wheel. neilskiw sent me a set of pistons with 198 rods still attached. I can have these rods reconditioned with ARP bolts. Leave the pins as pressed fit, for use with the flat top non turbo pistons. Some one asked about the compression distance of these pistons, but I can't find the question, now. Here are the numbers, with a dial caliper, so they could be off slightly. NOS factory piston 1.755 CD TRW 2502F forged flat top non turbo 1.605 CD Clevite TC2349 dished turbo 1.560 CD |
