Not the most powerful Slant out there, but not far off! I got to run him 2-3 times at MoKan (Denny Baierl driving). Made my low 13 sec street car look slow.

I was able to watch one of the first races of that car at MATS in 2010. I also witnessed it breaking the main shaft in the 904 on a launch, have the mechanic/driver/builder walk over to the swap meet, buy a 904 and do a field repair in the pits. And be ready for the next race. Amazing to me at the time.

It also raced the Mad Max Valiant. I always thought of that race as new tech verses old tech. The cars were virtually the same speed wise. A fully dressed Duster with EFI and a blower at 10psi against an extremely lightened '62 Valiant with a carb and nitrous.

Fun times.
