First, I have ZERO luck removing one.
However the crank I am going to use is missing the key.
I guess it fell out.

Does anyone know what size key I need to find to install?
I have a small key here the right width, but it's square and it looks like I need a rectangular one.
Mine is .1845 square and it fits the damper keyway.
But it is almost flush with that slot.

Thanks

Summit lists some. I think they have a little tail on each end. Just double check number below.

Mopar Replacement 6506397AA: Mopar Replacement Crankshaft Woodruff Keys

Order one for a la or B/ RB engine.

They are the same.

I cut a slot into a piece of 1/8"-3/16" metal and weld the key to the slotted metal.

Then hammer on the welded mass for removal.

Thanks Charrlie and Rick and Greg.
I will get a hold of Hughes and pay more in postage than the key cost!
Maybe I will get a life time supply while I am at it.
And buy the removal tool.

Those should ship to you for less than $6.00 The retail shipping rates are heavily inflated. use www.pirteship.com.

You just need to know the weight and X, Y, Z dimensions of the package.

All of those parts are probably less than 8 oz.

A wise man once told me "If I'd never met Seymour Peterson I could have saved myself $250K".

Probably both.
That would be a half a million.

My Opinion, Seymour was the one of greatest things that happened to Slant Sixes in my slant life time.
