Ok, no big deal. May have been the difference between the words you chose to use, (and the meaning you meant to convey), and the way I interpretted them.

Like has been mentioned, invest in a Dremel-style motor tool and some sanding rolls. I have used an air die grinder and double-cut carbide burrs on cast iron. The work goes faster, but you really gotta pay attention to what you're doing.....can't get distracted at all.

Good luck.....better yet, skill.

This thread represents everything I like about this website. Young kids just getting into the hobby, the "mature' guys with patience and tons of knowledge they're willing to give, as always, Doug's very informative PIC, guys backing each other up and to top it all, the comedy of "broken machine" measuring his wang! (;>)

I've been into straight sixes since... I was about 13. Im 18 now... and I am still looking to find me a good 2-Door A-Body (68-72) with a SLant six to begin work on... I currently own a 1983 AMC Eagle thats got a crushed oil-pan due to being run off the road because someone really wanted my lane...

Sorry if Im rambling. Figured I oughtta introduce myself formally. =D
