Trans is back in. The TCI I bought from a Stocker buddy stalled at 5000 behind a H/SA 360. I figure it will flash to 4600 or so off the brake in mine.

Going to try to test tomorrow if the weather is decent.

I invited my nephew with. He's never been to a dragstrip in his life.

Car ran pretty good today. Only issue I had was getting heat in it. First run I staged at 140° and when I turned off the track it was at 110.

I couldn't get much more in it for the 2nd try and it still stumbled going up on the brake. Car ran another 13:29 though.

I richened up the idle, and this time it went up on the brake nicely. Car went 13:25. It was so windy I put it back on the trailer and left.

Mike had filler panels in the grille painted black. The paint was peeling so I took them out. Looks like I'll be painting them and putting them back in.

Nephew thought the race track was pretty cool. When I dropped him off at home he asked if he can go with next time.

He also said my car is loud.

Well, because I am dumb, I signed up today for a Triple $10K race at 41 the first weekend in October. Hopefully we have a better outcome than last year.

Due to a poor forecast for the weekend, they changed the schedule to $15K Friday and Saturday, and dropped Sunday.

In celebration I bought another weekend entry. I am double entered in No Box. I've made 4 passes in the car this year, shat can possibly go wrong?

you wont drive over the crank, I am confident in the Jeffery / Muller / Zilla / Patrick Combination of parts, skills and engineering.

When Mike Evans was driving it at Cedar Falls I traded texts with Mike J. It went "Mike is doing good but he won't rev it up until the shift light comes on". MJ-"What's it set at?" Me "6300". MJ-"You need to lower that about 1300".

Doing better than last year. Made my first time run, went 8.44. Probably going to pick up a little.

Entered in Box and No Box. What can possibly go wrong?
