I WAS NEEDING SOME HELP ON DRIVESHAFT SIZE.WHAT I HAVE IS A 1973 DUSTER. MY MOM AND DAD GAVE ME THE CAR AFTER 30 YEARS R SO.They got the duster in Sept.72 and i was born that year in Feb. So the duster is all i know. I could not even fry rice the 7 1/4 did not have what it took.
So what I need help with is to see if the length I came up with of 51 1/2 - 51 3/4 will work.
I have a A-body 8 3/4 with 3:91 sure grip, I run a 814 3-speed and ya a 225 in the front. I know a little overkill but I had a 1970 340 with a little over 500+H.P. and a 833 this would have been fun but the money ran out so I dont have the 340 anymore.
This 225 is not done yet. But have hooker headers, offy 4bbl intake,Hughes can lifter.Still need a head to get the job done right, Roller time chain, B&B clutch.Any info will help me out a lot.
thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jason Portland,ore. 97233
