Has anyone used this clutch or know if it truly is a capable performance clutch set up?
It looks like the Spec clutch but looks mean nothing.
It would be nice to be able just buy a performance clutch that just bolts in and actually does what it claims.

Fine print says only 3 of the bolt holes line up.

I am not sure about that.

I never used one but I think one of the old hot rod rail guys ... maybe dick sappington used some aussie or oz parts.

The three bolts concerned me also but figured three more could be tapped into the flywheel easy enough.
I’m having a Falcon in New York rebuild a stock 9.5 with heavier springs and bolts.
Kevlar disc also.
We went over the horsepower and torque and it will handle factory 340 ratings which is enough for my build.
My pressure plate is from the 90s and very low miles and in very good shape so it shouldn’t have too much heat related issues to start with.

He mentioned he just did one not long ago. It may have been that very one.
Sounds very knowledgeable and straight.
My pressure plate had 9 springs already which is very rare or it may have already been rebuilt by some one.
I’m not sure the springs were heavier than stock or not.
It was behind a stock 170.
BTW there were more flywheel and clutch options on that Aussie site.
Pricey and shipping would be large I’m sure but the flywheels are interesting.

Been using two of'em for over five years. One in my HAMBster; the Flyin' Brick II, 1320 lb dragster on bias tread street hides, pulling a 4.56 rear, mid to high 12s. The other in my street daily "El Toad" wagon. Both with triple SUs, head work, and a little cam (decidedly more cam in the 'Brick).

Easy enough to drill the three new holes by drill press, just mark & center punch'em by bolting the clutch can on with the three existing ones. Then simply tap'em by hand if you don't have a tapping adapter for your drill press.

The Toad's finally going to want a disc sometime next year.

Project pic links're in my sig.

Thanks for the input, folks! I would be fine using that Aussie clutch, and might call them to get more info. The exchange rate is really good for US folks right now... Good to know about Falcon Clutch too!

Mate, I don't know anything about the particular clutch you're after, but Hem Performance have been around a long time down here. Not always the cheapest to buy stuff, but for you guys with the exchange rate the way it is.....you are blessed.
