Thanks Andy,

I would be interested to see what it all weighs.

I can weigh a stock Flywheel, 9" pp and Clutch Disc for comparison.

The package was around 42lbs, so I am guessing around 40. I will try to weigh it for real if you need something more accurate.

Wow, looks great! This is still looking like it's going to be a book part and not a single run type item?

Looks Like the Parts Are Listed:

Nice to have a flywheel option - You can always open it up for a 68-Up Crank.

I need to call to get my force 9.5 300 series in a t5 Spline as well... Which I can sure they can do.

Well I might just have to get a few.

Will there be any sort of group buy on these or just stock catalog pricing?

I will prolly be getting something soon.

Greg

Very nice to have off the shelf parts and they look nice. I would however liked the flywheel to be the 68 & up size.

That's easy Rick.. buy it and take it to the local machine shop to be enlarged.

Yep you can do that.I've done it before. Just adds another cost and two trips to the machine shop.

Right.

I am not complaining or anything about that, I would rather drive to the machine shop for modded parts than drive to work or the super market.

I also grateful that folks out there are making parts for our oddball engines and transmissions.

Ram is offering clutch and flywheel packages for both small and large pilot crankshafts. They have to be making both flywheels. I think this is a cataloging oversight and that if one were to call you could probably get a large-hole flywheel. I'd also like to know if the promised aluminum flywheel is available.

It seems that the t5 crowd would be pacified as well.

I will just call and as for these discs to pro placed instead of the 1X23 Splines..

And for those in the covalt clan running hemi splines:

Thanks to Andy and Ram for making such a nice package available. What is the reason for having one disc with a sprung hub while the other one doesn't?

I was wondering that myself. The solid disk will transmit all the torsional vibration it can and leave the sprung disc doing what? Everything modern has either a sprung disk or a dual-mass flywheel. With a solid flywheel and solid clutch disc I would expect quite a bit of gear rattle in the transmission.

Sorry for my absence here folks. Have been working for a new start up and haven’t been doing much of anything else, including installing my new flywheel. I will get to this soon, I promise and let you know how the dual clutch performs.
