They seemed really receptive to building them, so it makes no sense they do not want to sell them???

Sorry for the late response. I will email Mike tonight and hopefully get a response. My guess is that Summit doesn’t have additional info for the T5 conversion.

Ok. Email sent and I will let you know when I hear from him. He has been great communicating in the past so I should have an answer soon.

Thanks Andy,

Mike is the one who last emailed me to order through summit. You are correct summit doesn't seem to have the t5 options. I did email him a list of the exact setup because I know its not an off the shelf type of deal. I also offered to pay up front to pre order the setup too.

Thanks for reaching out to him for me. Hopefully they can get us a setup for the T5, I'd love to give it a shot in my race car.

Mike emailed me back on this and he will be creating a PN for the T5 setup. He didn’t realize how many people will want the T5 setup and only created a PN for the a833. I also asked if you could buy direct from Ram until Summit gets this into their system. I expect he will have an answer on 8/12 for us on that. Since you have already emailed him, you should go ahead and try him again.

Andy, Thanks for checking with him. But honestly he, or someone, must respond to the people that contact them with the desire to buy from them. Especially when they contact them several times and wait for weeks or months. Hopefully it works out soon.

Thanks, Andy. Note that many of us want the aluminum flywheel too (esp on the T5 variant). Not sure if that made it into the mix.

Best,
Lou

I emailed Mike and immediately got a response. He is looking into the issue and will get back in a few days. I will let him know that that the al is the preferred one if there is a run that needs to happen on his end

Mike at Ram got back to me. As of right now, these will be factory direct from Ram. He is fulfilling the Summit back orders this week and will likely get to making some more slant flywheels next week.
I would give them a call on Monday and let them know that you want one. I would also recommend that anyone else who wants one and can spring for it now to get one sooner than later. This may fall down on the priority list at list at Ram over time.

Thanks for your help with this Andy.

I have another message in to Mike. I sent him a list of what I'd like to order including the aluminum flywheel. Hopefully I hear back from him soon.

Ok good.
Most likely the aluminum flywheel will be a direct buy from Ram. If I don’t hear from them by late next week I will ping him again for an update. They have been great with this whole process so I am confident this will happen for you/us.
I probably should have pushed the aluminum flywheel more, though the steel ones I am sure are a great piece too.
I have to say that this is the first time ever with my 64 Dart that I have been able to do a 4K clutch dump and and smell nothing but tire rubber and not worry about getting a pedicure at the same time.

Thanks again, Andy. Do you have the dual disc unit in your 64?

Lou

Hi Rick. Sorry for the delay. Yes, I have the aluminum dual disc setup with a hydraulic TOB. It’s really nice setup. It grabs like no other slant with a clutch I have driven for sure. I gave some impressions earlier in this thread.
