I am swapping in a rebuilt 904 into my 64 Signet 200 Convertible. Stock 225 with split exhaust manifolds , Clifford Intake, Holley 390 and HEI. I need recommendations on what to get for a torque converter as far as going with a stock rebuilt one or a higher stall converter and a good place to get one. Thanks in advance ! Pat.

Are you using the PB trans? Is the engine a 67 or earlier, or the 68 up? Makes a difference in the converter. How you use the car, and what you are looking for will make a difference in the converter.

If you have a little money to spend, call Andre at Edge racing converters and have him build you a 2200-2400 stall for that engine/trans combo. It should be about as efficient as stock and will give you more oomph off the line.
