Post subject:  2015 Run for the Championship!!
The 2015 racing season will kick off with Mopars at the Strip (MATS) in Las Vegas, Nevada the weekend of 27-29 March.

The no longer orphaned MoKan race will be held April 11th at Asbury, Missouri (near Joplin/Carthage, MO).
This race is listed on BOTH the East and West coast calendars this year! :D

Dust off your race cars, change the oil, check the tire pressure... and let's go racing!

MATS is this weekend.

Right now it looks like there are seven racers planning to attend.

The Dynamic Dutra Duo of Doug and Allen
Andrew "Kidd" Howard
Terry Scott
Romeo Furio's brother (?)
And,... Yes. The "owners" of the Slant 6 race at MATS will be there again.
Randy and/or Scott Jones have won this race every year since 2010! :shock:

No idea yet how many racers are planning to attend the MoKan race. Several of the local racers for that one don't frequent the forum here.

Highlight for the MoKan race is Team Green taking on a new Hellcat! :twisted:

Andrew "Kidd" Howard took the win in the first race of the 2015 season.

New Comer Michelle St. Onge-Bohman was runner up in the eight car field with her very nice '67 Dart. She and her husband planned to swap the Slant 6 for a smallblock, but after racing with us and getting some advice and a few parts they decided to keep the Leaning Tower of Power!

I sort the list by points and then by Index, so in cases where two or more racers have the same points, the person with the higher performance index wins.

As an example:
B. Oertle and Andrew Shank both have 35 points.

B. Oertle has won 3 of 3 races for a P.I. of 1.0000
Andrew Shank has won 3 of 4 races for a P.I. of 0.7500

In cases where racers have the same amount of points AND the same P.I. (Ron Hamby, Charlie Schmid and Brian Droschak currently)

Ya'll just gotta race again and see who wins!! :wink: :D
