He likes to know the "timing" of the fuel pump lobe.

He is planning to use fuel pump cycle as source of cam position sensor in to the engine position. 2 full circulars or 720 degrees.

Depending of the ECU limitations it is important to locate the cam sensor "pulse" either before or after TDC and not BDC but also not in TDC. If the fuel pump lobe is either BDC or TDC located the usage of it is difficult or not possible for such application.

Seems to work. Cam pulse is about 8 crank teeth (36-1 crank wheel) after the missing tooth... so 14 teeth after tdc?

Idle smoothed out going full sequential. Time to drive it around...

Other random fyi’s….

The diyautotune sensor is active low… need to change tunerstudio option to falling edge.

There’s plenty of oil slinging around in that area. Don’t forget to put sealer around the sensor base before bolting it to the plate. Thought I could get away with it…. Oops.
