I am swapping a slant into a 2004 Mazda RX8. I would like to keep all of the car's electric functionality. A friend swapped a Toyota 2JZ (inline six, OHC) into his RX8. He suggested this ECU. Any experience or thoughts?

I checked with a local RX8/LS swap guy and he told me this unit would run the slant just fine. He's going to help me choose the throttle body and the injectors. I can use the fuel pump lobe (pump is in fuel tank) or use the distributor if I use coil packs. |
