| Post subject: | Alternator bracket |
Hey guys. Had a quick question. I had to replace the head gasket on my slant and during the removal of the head I accidentally broke the alternator bracket. I found one online from a 72 Duster with the slant 6. Will that be the same? Looks like the same bracket but thought I would ask first. |

I assume this is the standard passenger side mounting. Those mounts should bolt up and be fully compatible, although they may look a little different. Between 67 (your car) and 72, then should look essentially identical and be a lump of cast iron. Some later and earlier ones were thick stamped/sheet metal. Lou |

Thanks dart 270. It is a standard passenger side mount. I thought it looked the same but thought I would ask before I buy it. |
