Are these any good?

For My '69-62 Cars.

I like the Idea of the OE look with solid state mechanics.. Are they any good?

Thank you electrical sages!

Greg

I worked at various auto parts stores in the 80-90's. There were quite a few of the replacement Voltage Regulators that were solid state. You could tell which ones by the fact that they didn't have the wire resistors on the bottom. I have used them and they work just fine. I would think that just about any one you got from an auto parts store today would likely be the solid state ones.

I've had many a issue with those, I went through 4 of them before upgrading to the newer style regulators. Never a problem since. I do NOT promote those at all!! Good Luck
