Just look at this (off-topic) crap!
They had me up until they mentioned the "halo rings" of LED's around both lamps, plus the horizontal string across the bottom. I knew right then that it was crap-ola.

Just want some better lighting on the front of my O/T '04 Ford 1/2 ton, being as the lenses are getting quite fogged, and the right one gets moisture on the inside of the lens.

And Dan.....thanks for educating us as to what to look for. We really are listening.

Roger

F##k LMC anyway. According to them Dodge never made a truck before 1994, still waiting for my catalog for whatever they could get for my 83 D250 since like 2008,..... A truck I sold in 2011.
Yet they can sell anything to build a GM, Ford or IH all the way back to 1947. There's nothing they have I can't find elsewhere.

The one and only lighting item offered by LMC that's maybe worth buying is their replaceable-bulb headlamps to replace the miniature 92 × 150mm little oblong sealed beams used on some '88-'93 Chev/GMC trucks and vans, XJ Jeep Wagoneers, and a few other vehicles. The LMC items are Chinese trinkets, but they're a thin slice better than the completely useless sealed beams, and with carefully-chosen bulbs they can be made a somewhat thicker slice better. Still way too small for the job they're asked to do, but some people are stuck with that headlamp format.

All the rest of their so-called lighting components belong in gumball machines, if they have those in Guangdong.

Don't think I've ever seen anything to celebrate about their non-lighting components, either, come to think of that.

I'm drawing a blank, what's O/T?

Sorry.....O/T=off topic.

I suspect I'm gonna have to stick with a stock replacement h/l assembly, and maybe upgraded lamps.

OOooo....they sell blue-coated lamps!

Genuine Ford ones if you can get 'em. The aftermarket ones are severely inferior, even the ones claiming "CAPA certified" and "OE quality" and "DOT/SAE approved". You might or might not be able to get hold of the OE Ford lamps, depending on whether yours is a new-body '04 or a "Heritage" (old-body) '04.

Yep, shop carefully. "LED bulbs" are a hard/flat no. Get these for a new-body truck (the "XtremeVision +100" variety); send me a PM if yours is an old-body truck.

Either way, lamp aim is super crucial.

Thank You, Dan.
But.....OUCH! The factory lenses are priced rather..........generously.

That's true. But even the expensive ones are cheaper than body repair (for cars or people).

Shop around. Try http://www.tascaparts.com .
