I am wondering if I can get pictures of modified factory manifolds or custom-fabbed manifolds that the GN turbo is adapted to. I'd like to see how the turbo was bolted to the manifold and how the flange was made. I'm doing a blow-thru setup so they are preferred. Thanks! |

Oh, sorry...I should have been specific. Blow-thru setups only please. That is a clean draw-thru setup though! |

Hey doc, I'm thinking heavily towards using a similar setup to the one you pictured. I found a t04e which I think is the grand national one I think? I am having difficulties finding the peice in front of it that the Rochester mounts to. What is that part called? Or is it custom fabricated? |

I just picked up a 3.8 buick draw thru turbo setup from the late 70's/ early 80's and have some questions. Though I would through it in with this thread. Does anyone have a picture of the oil lines that run to/from the turbo or is this turbo oilless? The turbo is a AIresearch turbo. From what I have read it runs between 8-9 psi on the stock buick block. That being said, I read a thread on here from the archives that mentioned a 170 ci slant 6 running 12 psi but it melted a piston. I can figure out the exhaust and the return to the trubo, but need some help with the vacuum lines and the oil supply. Any help is appreciated. |

you tap the oil from where the oil pressure sender is usually, then run it into the top of the turbo core, then drill a hole with a nipple of some kind into the oil pan to drain the turbo back into the pan. |
