I am wondering if I can get pictures of modified factory manifolds or custom-fabbed manifolds that the GN turbo is adapted to. I'd like to see how the turbo was bolted to the manifold and how the flange was made. I'm doing a blow-thru setup so they are preferred. Thanks!

Oh, sorry...I should have been specific. Blow-thru setups only please. That is a clean draw-thru setup though!

Hey doc, I'm thinking heavily towards using a similar setup to the one you pictured. I found a t04e which I think is the grand national one I think? I am having difficulties finding the peice in front of it that the Rochester mounts to. What is that part called? Or is it custom fabricated?

I have a Buick turbo on my '62. The piping and plumbing is convoluted. Early a bodies have tight engine bays.

I have some photos in this thread.

I just picked up a 3.8 buick draw thru turbo setup from the late 70's/ early 80's and have some questions. Though I would through it in with this thread. Does anyone have a picture of the oil lines that run to/from the turbo or is this turbo oilless? The turbo is a AIresearch turbo. From what I have read it runs between 8-9 psi on the stock buick block. That being said, I read a thread on here from the archives that mentioned a 170 ci slant 6 running 12 psi but it melted a piston.

I can figure out the exhaust and the return to the trubo, but need some help with the vacuum lines and the oil supply. Any help is appreciated.

you tap the oil from where the oil pressure sender is usually, then run it into the top of the turbo core, then drill a hole with a nipple of some kind into the oil pan to drain the turbo back into the pan.
