I'm not seeing this on a dyno in the video. He's in the mid 11's. 600HP(?) probably not! Or tell me where the math is wrong.

I saw this car at MATS 10 or so years ago. It is a full bodied Duster. They were running 10 psi non intercooled certifical supercharger with a complete efi setup. They had room for "growth". Mark Etheradge had the guzzymark car there also. They ran and were within 10ths of each other. Fascinating to watch, old school vs new school.

The Duster broke the main shaft in the 904 on a practice run. The driver/mechanic worked over to the swap meet and bought a 904, field stripped the race transmission, swapped the main shafts and had the car running by the next practice lap. Impressive to say the least.

600 horses, who knows. But the car is impressive.

Mr. Wallace says 518.9 for a 10:90@3400#.

I talked to Steve at the Florida Mopar Ass show last November. He told me they had put down a 10.5? a few weeks before.

He called me awhile back and mentioned the same 10.50. That was when they were planning to attend the big Racer’s Reunion at Clay City.

They ran 10.77 at MoKan in April. He hadn’t weighed his car I don’t think. He didn’t know for sure if it would be in C or D class and didn’t want to submit for a record unless he was sure of the weight.

A very nice car!

I don’t know if the car had nitrous at that point or was “just” supercharged.
