Wow, glad everyone survived. Great job on the safety systems.

I hate to see it like that.

I am glad that The Safety equipment worked properly. That sure is scary.

Can the chassis be straightened on a frame machine?

Thanks for posting, Rob. I am sure that was hard to do...

Yes, thanks to Toadracer and the whole team for the good times and memories. Thanks very much for your leadership, Rob. It was running great.

Frame rails are buckled and displaced about 8-10" to the pass side and upward maybe 4-6". Would require cutting off and welding in new frame rails, aligning everything... Better to start with a new chassis, IMHO. Everything inside the cage had relatively little damage.

Lou

That's a shame. I know how much work, time and money go into building a race car.

If you guys want it. I'll donate my 64 signet, as a basis for a new car. It is just a body shell and needs the front clip sheet metal. I'll never build it.

Damn! That's disappointing to see, poor Toadracer, glad the Driver's OK. Make sure He gets a thorough checkup, I've taken some hard hits, the neck & shoulders are reminding Me of...if You're in need of scouts in the SW PA/WVA area, just give a shout, I'd be glad to run & check something out for You Guys..

Sorry to see it like that, guys. That was a fantastic car. Glad no one's physically hurt, though. At least it's nice to know the cage and everything else worked as intended.

Keep on keeping on!

We saved what we could from the carnage. That roll cage Adam built did NOT want to come out, but we finally got it. I saved the only corner that survived for wall art. Adam got the trunk lid…

I found the perfect replacement for ToadRacer here in Tucson, AZ. Same year, color, trim, everything. It doesn’t even need new floors! I’m not sure if I’m up for it… it hasn’t sold yet… I might be procrastinating just long enough so that it sells and saves me the heartache…

Maybe ToadRacer will live again… some day… maybe…

Hi Rob,
Thanks for the update. That is quite the picture of the Toadracer shell, lonely in the gravel lot/driveway. Thanks for everything you have done, and thanks to Adam too. I miss the team and the racing and the Toadracer. Someday...
Slant on, my friend.
Lou

It would be great to see another version of Toadracer live on.

Saving that metal for wall art is a good idea too.

I have a bunch from the cars I have cut up or saved bits off of in my shop,

It spruces up the place quite a bit.

Greg
