Trying this again on this thread.... 63 Valiant; I cannot figure out how this switch is supposed to work.. move around when you move the turn signal stalk? stay stationary?

Any help or tips appreciated.

The C-shaped part on the left and toward the driver should move when you move the signal lever. The rest of the switch needs to be fixed (with 3 screws, I believe) to the rest of the steering column. Hope this helps, or please describe what it is doing. I wonder if the wires on the left are restricting motion, since they should run directly back into the column and not be next to the C-shaped part. Or, maybe something is loose in the column that is letting the whole assembly (all the white plastic parts) move when you move the lever?

Best,
Lou

It was the wires bunched up underneath preventing the switch from fully seating. Moved the wires around as best as I could and finally got it seated. Thank you.
