63 Valiant: Getting ready to install new wind lace, in preparation to have a new headliner installed... Got the old windlace off, but I can't figure out how to get the
remaining old headliner material out where it was tucked (see bottom of the pic): thought maybe the little tabs above might be holding the material in but not sure...Any tips out there from anyone who has done this job before??

It would have been easier if you had left a few inches of fabric to grip when you cut it off. I've never done an A-body, but if it's similar to others I've done. you should be able to push the remaining material up inside the space between the roof and the metal framing. Use a putty knife and do a small portion at a time, Old material will tend to hang up on the sharp points, so start saving up cuss words before you begin. You might have to narrow the putty knife blade to get enough leverage to push the material out.
