63 Valiant: does anyone know where the attachment screws are located on the vent window assembly, for removal? I see the lower attachment bracket in the door but can't locate the others.

I assume you are trying to remove the entire assembly, the vent window and frame?

there are (2) 7/16" head bolts behind the decorative pot metal valiant badge on the door.

I think you have found those.

Then there are a few screws above the vent window that attach to the door frame. there might be 2-3 of these under a piece of gasket that is glued to the door frame.

You have to remove the main door glass and the 2 sweeps and most of the other weather gasket before you can pull the vent window frame out of the door.

Yes, I need to pull the whole vent assembly, the window track is really messed up on that side and the door glass is really hard to lower; My door does not have a pot metal badge so I'm not sure what you re referring to... Even if I remove the glass, I see no way to access any screws/bolts inside the door at the top.

I should clarify>>> My manual shows two attaching screws at the base of the vent window frame, in their diagram...Those are the two that have me puzzled; I can't see a way to get to them.
