Hello all,
I have been getting this 74 Dodge D100 running and I am now struggling with vapor lock. I was told to put a fuel vapor separator in line between the fuel pump and carburetor but I am wondering if I can eliminate the charcoal canister and use the line that returns to the gas tank as a return line for the separator? The canister isn't being used anymore as the new carburetor doesn't have a vacuum nipple for it.
Thank you!

Southern California, the gasoline was boiling in the carburetor and but I think I figured the issue. The motor was running 100% water in the cooling system
