Is that a good place for the return spring to be mounted? Looks like engine torque would try to close the throttle on you.

It is NOT a good place to mount it and it is not permanent. Good eye!

I just thought the motor mount was torn and that was holding the engine in place! :D :D

I can't believe you guys haven't already seen the combination throttle return spring/torque strap. It's been around. :mrgreen:

Mine has been mounted in a similar fashion for many years on the hyperpack dart... never had any problems.

Really that set up didn't present any problems while driving and the reality of it is, throttle return springs are trying to close the throttle all the time.
