Burg, where have you been? If you aren't careful your going to be me in a few years. How is that Coronet coming?
Lancersaurus is really about done. First show in two weeks with the Dallas Mopar club. Then Tulsa on Nov. 2. Then ???

Always looked up at those orange parts and wondered if or when it would happen. This car is SO much better than what I would have been able to do, I got really lucky the way it all came together. My son, Matt, who lives out here is going to help with it, maybe I am finally rubbing off on him! Only took 36 years. Hope all your family is well.

I'm still here! I've been fortunate to meet several members of the slant family.
My Coronet has gone backwards...It has taken on water, so although it isn't in the I'll fix it someday category, more like I have to start over someday.
I have a 71 Dart Swinger that needs a slant, and my eyes on a 65 Valiant I shouldn't buy, but probably will.
Family is doing well, just celebrated my youngest son's 11th birthday. I'm hoping they allow passengers in slant six racing!

Removed the cracked front bumper, it was cracked right beside another repair. Going to do some glass work and then try to match the paint. I found a company in Canada who is making a flat hood. Anderson Industries fiberglass molds is what they are using. I removed all the wiring and cleaned the front frame rails today.

Worked on the rear end today. Removed the wheels, tires are too wide rubbing on ladder bars. Pulled the cover and liked what I saw. 4.88 on a nice spool. Lots of cleaning to do, and need to pick a rear brake setup. Mark Goodman helped out too, finding out more history on the car, thanks Mark!

Looks like I sold the 71 Colt project car tonight. This is good for me, a little cash and room in the Garage. The buyer wants to build a Hemi Colt, imagine that!

I found out more history on the Colt, I am the number 6 owner, there were 2 flippers in the chain. Planning a trip to Floydada soon to meet Don Hardy and close the loop!
Monumental day today. I have wanted a Colt for decades and today I mocked up a slant six between frame rails. I was stoked thinking about this long trip I have been on. I have a long way to go, but every step gets me closer. Also been working on the bellhousing and clutch setup.

Are you going to race with an Aluminum block?

No, it's just a million times easier to fit stuff using the aluminum parts!

OK, makes sense. I thought that you might have discovered some secret to using the aluminum blocks in racing applications.
