Yep! This weird stuff drives us all crazy till we find it! :? Then it is so simple. Thanks for sharing, it will help someone else down the line. Be sure and show us a picture of the culprit! :D :D

Still having head troubles.
I have another head at the machine shop now.\
I did some mild porting before I took it to them.
Pressure checking, milling, install large valves.
I hope to get it back next week.

I have been re-reading copies of the Slant Six Racing News.
So much history and info from our Golden Years of slant racing.
This little bullet really hit me.
Seymour was right on the mark!
The issue was the slant six racer roster printed in February of 2000.
It was an alphabetical listing of known racers.
Being Aiton put me first, even though I was one of the minor players.
Here is what Seymour wrote 22 years ago.
"Stan Aiton-Dyed in the wool Slant 6 fan, owns a 13 sec. Cuda notchback with a Hyper Paked 4 speed on board. Busy with his family, Stan will field a Slant 6 powered Dodge Colt one day and blow us all in the weeds!"

Thank you Seymour for having faith in me, and you should mark your calendar for Tulsa later this year.

It's been a while since I posted.
After quite a few issues I am close to going to the track to do some shake down runs.
Maybe in a couple of weeks.
Here is the latest video of the Colt as it sits.
I will post an engine run after I get it warmed with water in the cooling system.
