I have some laying around, but I hid them so well I can't find them. I used a 5/16" carb stud and a locknut and washer on my race car. So far, so good, but it's got solid lifters.

Mine will have solid lifters as well. This is for this 1977 casting prototype closed chamber head. The engine it was on had hydraulic lifters from the factory. It even has the 80 and prior valve cover pattern. I guess I could tap the 5/16 hole to 3/8-16 and use a standard solid lifter shaft bolt. I really wanted to save that as a last resort. Thanks, I may try the stud idea.

I still need this bolt if someone has one. I would much rather use the factory piece. Thanks.
