Hello-

I am looking for the infamous Super Six Kickdown rod that will work on a Carter BBD with a 904 transmission. Sadly, the one I have and though was correct is actually for a 1bbl. I have the rest of the setup installed and ready to go on this engine swap. Looking to avoid using the cable setup, unless someone here can convince me otherwise.

Thanks!

There’s a group on fb that has one for sale. Brackets and all! He only wants $20. Want me to ask?

Thanks so much for looking out. Much appreciated!

Those are a hot commodity.

Could never understand how/why someone didn’t offer it as a reproduction part.

In the "suggested items" below this ad they show one for a 727 for a few bucks more. I wonder what the difference might be between them.
Especially considering how it's advertised saying that both the cable and the housing can be cut down.

For what it is worth, I am currently running a Lokar cable kickdown removed from a 225/904 setup on the 225/727 setup in my 76 D100. Works fine, no problems. Didn't change any length of anything.
