This wire comes off of the fuse block for exterior lamps to the headlight switch then runs to this figure. I have no clue what it means. The other components near it in the diagram are the ash tray light, cigarette ligher.

The ascii version isn't far off from the drawing. It's just a rectangle with one end rounded and the line for the wire coming out of it. The letters indicate which which circuit, it's gauge and color. That's all I have to go on.

Looks like a 16 guage dark green wire. My guess is it is the feed for the headlights.

It's an 83 D-150, Dan. I replaced the headlight switch hoping it was the problem.
This is in line with my problem in this thread.
I ran out of daylight before I could follow the green wire back to whatever it is connexted to.
