went to the local pick-a-part today and found a 73 charger with front disc brakes. im probably going to answer my own question but will these fit my 75 duster? the duster has 10" drums and im thinking that since guys take the a-body disc brakes and use them on b-bodies that it works the reverse way as well? if so what all will i need to get off of it(the charger)?obviously the calipers/rotors/and spindle but what about the master cylinder?does it have a proportioning valve of any kind?also since my duster has small bp im going to need either a different rearend or at the least different axles/drums. how can i tell what rearend is under my car?

I think your '75 Duster will have the big upper ball joint, so you should be OK if you got the disc brake knuckles. Mopar Action says not to use the '73 and up B-body disc knuckles, though, because it is taller. I have not done this particular swap myself--maybe someone else here can chime in.

Look at this excerpt from the Auto Hobby Digest site, confirming what Mopar Action says: In 1973, for 10" drum and disc brake A-bosdies, the front suspension and brakes were changed considerably. The new 10x2.5" drum brake system was introduced as well as the new unicast 11" disc rotor system (this disc system was introduced on all A,B,C and E bodies in 1973). The 10x2.5" drum and the new unicast discs shared the same UCA, and upper and lower ball joints. These are the same ball joints used on 1962-1972 B-bodies and 1970-1974 E-bodies. The A-body UCA is not shared with the B-bodies or E-bodies. Although the suspension geometry is the same of 1973-1976 A-bodies and 1963-1972 A-bodies, since the upper ball joint changed, the 1973-1976 UCA for 10" drum and disc cars is different than the 1963-1972 A-body UCA.

I bolded what cars you'll want the knuckles from. Notice that the cutoff for the right B-body spindles is '72.

In the meantime, read these:

More info, and a different view of the knuckle issue:

It seems that B-bodies aren't very common as brake donors for A-bodies.
