Where can I find a set of 198 connecting rods?. I see Cox Brothers has them for $1200. Are there any other places I could find them?

Pick up a junk yard 198 for a couple hundred bucks. There aren't many around, but there are a few.

Growing older is unavoidable but growing up is strictly optional.

The Cox bros rods are not 198 rods. They are "aftermarket" high strength rods, that are the same size as the factory 198 rods.
