Does any one now the production numbers or a site that shows what was built up there for that year. It is a slant 6 car but had the old head on it cast #2206035-1, Don't know that this means any thing but would like hear anything about the canadian built cars. I was'nt born when these cars were built so i have no clue where to look any help would be great.

That head is a pre 68 piece right? And is not a good piece to try opening up for more flow, bigger valves etc. I have two of the newer heads and if it is easier to work on the new heads, i'll trash the old head. Not worth the effort i'm guessing?

It really doesn't matter too much which head you start with. People make a big deal about late/early castings, but MANY racers who go in the 12s and lower use the early heads. I have one on my quick street car (low 14s/high 13s on pump gas). You may get a slight advantage with the later head style, but it is not huge.
