Hello I run a blow thru slant 6. When you blow down thru the carb the fuel bowls are pressurised. That is why you need to increase fuel pressure with boost. Lets say you are running 10 psi and your fuel pressure is 5psi, The fuel does not have the force to push the needle and seat open. you will need to increase the fuel pressure 5 or so psi above boost pressure to fill the bowls.
