I greatly appreciate if anybody can answer my questions. Mine is a Plymouth Duster 1973, A body, slant 6 225 engine, drums in the four wheels, 1) Did it ever a 73 Duster like this had power booster brakes? 2) If they weren't, which of the ones in the market (from Cardone, etc) is easier to adapt to it?

Welcome to the board. The 73 Dusters were available with power brakes and disc brakes as options. The disc brakes are called Kelsey Hayes and are 4 pistons type. They are also getting hard to find. The option that most people are chosing is to upgrade to the Large Bolt Pattern LBP discs from 74 and up A-bodys. With Power boosters and Master Cylinders from auto parts stores buy NEW and not reconditioned. I hope this gives you some ideas and feel free to ask more questions.

This is off by one year. 1972 was the last year for the 4-piston disc brakes on A-bodies; 1973 was the first year for the single-piston disc brakes with the large (4½") wheel bolt pattern.

Yep, power 4-wheel drum brakes were available.

What is your goal? Do you have something specific in mind that you're trying to achieve? The nonpower drum brakes do not require a lot of foot pressure when they are in proper repair, so if you are having to stand on the brake pedal to get the car to slow down, the first thing to do is to inspect, diagnose, and repair the brakes, rather than thinking in terms of retrofitting a booster.

Honestly, I feel tempted with a power brakes booster on sale on ebay now. Apparently it comes from an A-body. Though I like to preserve my Duster as much as close to original, if I can add a litle more with the power brakes with no major changes I would do it. Thank you for the good reception to my questions.

A power booster would decrease the pedal effort, but would not add stopping power.

i just did the disc swap... and i can say that the power booster setup is a PITA unless the booster is in perfect condition, even then i think i would rather have manual disc. i used that power booster for about a week. its not really worth it...
