Look between the alternator bracket and the head. There is a stamping pad on the block that sticks out from under the head. If you scrape all the gunk off, the CI number will be stamped there.:)

Car Model: Many Darts and a Dacuda
Here is a look at the boss on the block and the ID numbers stamped into it.
This engine is a 1962 aluminum block 225 (TA22)
A 198 will have some letters and "19" or "198" stamped there.
