That would come in handy on a high compression motor with locked timing. Other than that it is useless.

I've owned/worked on enough Fords to know that I would never call their ignition an "upgrade". The boxes suck, and many times the connectors fill with moisture and cause crazy problems. :roll:

FWIW, the ballast is usually for the coil, not the ignition box. :shock:
