we have a 1968 Dart...our parts Dart so to speak..want to conver to to a 4 speed overdrive...will there be a crankshaft issue as far as the trans mainshaft goes..I know there is on a 440 motor..thanks!

If you have a small V8 you are good....the slant needs a crank and bellhousing dapter

Would a 4 speed transmission out of a '72 Charger with 340 V8 swap onto a 225 slant in a '74 Dart? Were do the adapter for bellhousing and crank come from?

Ahhh you mean a 4 speed manual trans......

you need a slant flywheel and bell housing.

72 Charger is a B body. It used a different tail housing and mounted the shifter in a different spot than the A body Dart.

I don't think you can use it.

Yes, B-body will fit, but will require some work. Check this link .
