He'll need at a minimum the center shaft from a PS-equipped 64-66. Might be easier to find a complete column though.

Yes, the pitman arm is '62-'66 only.

Steering box is '62-'72 A/B-body

Steering column or steering shaft will need changed (shorter)

P/S pump and brackets from '67-up cars do not necessarily fit easily in '66-down cars -- they'll bolt up to the engine just fine, but may not leave enough room for P/S belt adjustment without hitting the inner body metal.

so will the pitman arm of the standard box from the 64 fit the power steering box from 67 to 76, are the splines the same?

Again: Steering box is '62-'72, A/B-body. You cannot use a '73-up power steering box, which will not connect to the '62-'66 pitman arm.

Sorry to bring back a old topic but got a question in this matter, I got a 71 Duster and got everything but the steering column or steering shaft from a 75 Duster to get power steering.

The power steering box will fit and install without problems?, will I need other thing to modify appart the steering column and/or steering shaft?

Thanks in advance!

If you're using parts from a '75 on your '71 you'll need to transplant the steering box, pitman arm, idler arm and center link. You'll also need a steering column or the shorter shaft used with power steering.
